Architect, specifier, programmer, facilitator, and educator, Michael Chambers FAIA FCSI has 30 years experience in education, health care, government, and sports architecture. Working closely with clients in pre design, materials selection, program analysis, post occupancy evaluation, and marketing strategies, Michael offers a broad perspective on critical design and construction issues both as a technical architect and as an educator.

As a national developer and presenter of professional continuing education programs based directly on his experience writing specifications for billion dollar health care projects, sports venues, 5-star hotels, high-rise housing, education facilities, and international projects. Michael uses his experience as a technical team member to show designers and product representatives how to use specifications and technical analysis processes to perfect and protect their design intent.

Michael is an architectural graduate of the University of Southern California, registered architect in California and Minnesota, and a Certified Construction Specifier. He is a Fellow of AIA and CSI, and is active in AIA San Francisco, CSI San Francisco, and the Specification Consultants in Independent Practice (SCIP).

Michael is principal of MCA Specifications, Construction Specifications Group of Ukiah, CA.
