IndConn Boilerplate:

IndConn is a new addition to the 2008 ConnectivityWeek events and is focused on Industrial Automation, IT and Connectivity. Industrial Automation has been at the forefront of the use of smart connected devices for decades ever since the creation of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) in the 1970's. This event brings together the leading industry players and organizations to drive the increased use of IT techniques, products and methodologies, whilst underlining the importance of interoperability and information standards.

IndConn is organized in partnership with the OPC Foundation and Open O&M, and will feature two days of conference tracks along with an expo.

In 2008, IndConn will be held May 20-22, 2008, at the Santa Clara Convention Center as part of ConnectivityWeek 2008.
